The Torres Foundation wishes to invite you to our annual "Trini" Christmas fête (party) fundraiser at the Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
"Trini" Christmas cuisine all the way, including the spirits and the music .
This year we are celebrating our 10th year anniversary as an organization in Port-of-Spain and our 5th year in Washington DC. The funds raised this year will be used to support our newly established Camp Can Do summer program that was launched in July of this year and held on the island of Tobago. As of April 25 Freedom Scientific has released updates to JAWS 9.0 and MAGic 11.0. The updates are free for customers who currently own JAWS 9 or MAGic 11. As part of our recent website upgrade the Torres Foundation now includes a blog section. The primary purpose of this new feature is to establish better communication and a more interactive experience with our customers, clients, donors, well-wishers, and the general public at megabit speed.
The Foundation is a multinational organization that seeks to enhance the quality of life for the blind by providing technology training services; assistive technology consulting services; reading services; personal assistant services; education support; braille production services; and volunteer community support.
Our headquarters is located in downtown Washington DC, but the Foundation provides services nationally and internationally.
The Foundation also has an office in downtown Port-of-Spain where we also provide similar services.
